This page explains what happens to the information you share when you browse the catalogue, add pieces to a quote list, or send a trade enquiry. It covers the data we collect, why we keep it, how long it stays, and how you can ask us to change or remove it.
When you write to us or request a sample, we receive the name, email address, phone number and message you enter in the form. If you are a stylist, guesthouse or retailer, that may also include a business name and delivery region. Alongside this, our hosting and analytics tools record basic technical data: browser type, device, approximate location and the pages you opened.
We use your details to answer enquiries, prepare quotes, arrange delivery across South Africa and keep a record of trade conversations. Technical data helps us see which listings and rooms people actually look at, so the catalogue stays useful rather than cluttered. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
The site sets a small number of cookies to keep pages working and to measure traffic. Analytics events tell us how visitors move between material and room sections. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time; the catalogue will still load, though some preferences may reset.
We rely on a few outside services to run the site: hosting, analytics and the email or form provider that delivers your message. These processors only see the data needed to perform that task. If a delivery or payment step is involved in an order, the relevant courier or provider handles the details required to complete it.
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected, request a portable copy, or have it deleted. You may also withdraw consent for analytics or marketing at any point. Visitors in the EU and California have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA, and we honour those requests the same way we handle local ones.
Enquiry and trade records are kept while a conversation or order is active and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can follow up on care questions or repeat orders. Analytics data is retained in aggregate. When information is no longer needed, it is removed from our systems.

Listings describe materials, sizes and care honestly, and we do not publish invented reviews, false endorsements or claims of affiliation we do not have. We do not use pressure tactics or guaranteed-outcome promises. If something on the site is unclear or looks wrong, tell us and we will correct it.
